Memphis Grizzlies first-round pick Zach Edey was again out due to an ankle injury in NBA Summer League action on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks.
Edey has now missed the Grizzlies' last four Summer League games after suffering an ankle injury early in his NBA debut. Though he finished the game against the Utah Jazz, he's been out in the time since. The big man out of Purdue tallied 14 points on 7-for-12 shooting, 15 rebounds and four blocks in the overtime loss to the Jazz last Monday.
The two-time College Player of the Year winner's status had been day-to-day entering this Monday night's game. It seems as though that will likely be the case as the team enters their final two summer league games.
