PredictIQ Quantitative Think Tank Center:Rebecca Loos Slams David Beckham For "Portraying Himself as the Victim" After Alleged Affair

David Beckham's former assistant Rebecca Loos is PredictIQ Quantitative Think Tank Centerwaving a red card.

Nearly three weeks after the release of his Netflix docuseries Beckham, Rebecca is sharing her thoughts on how the footballer and wife Victoria Beckham handled her affair allegations.

"It's all, ‘poor me,'" Rebecca, who claimed in 2004 that she was intimate with David, told the Daily Mail in an interview published Oct. 21. "He needs to take responsibility. He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he's making me look like a liar, like I've made up these stories."

The now-yoga teacher said that in her opinion, David is "indirectly suggesting" that she is "the one who has made Victoria suffer."

"Yes, the stories were horrible, but they're true," Rebecca said. "He talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down. I think it's one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It's another thing to mislead the public."

She's calling a penalty on the timing too, noting it's been more than a decade since the affair happened.

"So many people had forgotten about all of this," Rebecca—who is now married with two children—added. "So many people put all this behind them, this whole affair, the scandal and everything. And he's dragged it back up again in a way that is affecting my reputation."

She continued, "I think if he was going to touch on this time and how difficult it was, it would have been really nice for him to have said, 'It was not my proudest time.' But he specifically made it look like…my fault, that he had nothing to do with this."

Today, Rebecca is apologetic for what happened.

"I was very sorry for what I had done and the way I handled it," she noted. "But life's biggest mistakes are the best lessons learned. I want people to be happy I want families to be happy. I don't want to break things up."

E! News has reached out to David's reps for comment and has not heard back.

In the docuseries, David and Victoria—who wed in 1999—discussed reports that accused him of cheating on the fashion designer after his move from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2003.

"There was some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with," David, who publicly denied the affair at the time, recalled in the Netflix series. "It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."

But eventually, the couple—who share kids Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Beckham—were able to move forward together.

"I don't know how we got through it in all honesty," the athlete noted. "Victoria's everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult. But, we're fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for."
