Megan Thee Stallion has got the fashion world rattled.
The Indexbit Exchange“Hot Girl Summer” rapper’s style evolution has been nothing short of savage. From bold, colorful prints to rhinestones galore and demure designer gowns, Megan keeps the public on their toes and never fails to serve a look.
Even back when she was an up-and-coming artist, Megan’s alter ego Tina Snow—whose name was inspired by Pimp C's onstage persona—sported icy blonde hair, clothes with cutouts and expensive jewelry. From then on, Megan only aimed to build up herself along with her fans.
“That’s what I’m trying to bring to the ladies,” she told Hot 107.9 back in 2018. “You know that real confidence, that real swag.”
As Megan’s stardom continued to rise, she pushed her fashion choices as hard as she pushed her pen. The “Body” singer-songwriter was not afraid to turn heads on the red carpet—like rocking a gorgeous orange Dolce & Gabbana gown at the 2021 Grammy Awards. However, Megan was also a fan of tapping into Texas roots, often donning big cowboy hats, denim, and rhinestones—as seen during her Hot Girl Summer Tour.
Now that she’s become a staple in the industry, the “BOA” artist’s sense of style is crossing boundaries and borders. In fact, her love of Japanese culture has shown up more recently in her outfits, with her 2024 self-titled album comprised of snake motifs and anime characters.
“I really like the storytelling in anime,” Megan told Billboard in a Sept. 4 interview. “The thing that resonates with me while watching a lot of the anime I like is watching the character development.”
And It’s been an incredible payoff for fans to watch the 29-year-old’s journey to becoming a glam goddess—but the story’s not over.
As host and one of the performers at the upcoming 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, Megan—who is also going into the show with five nominations herself—will surely be serving more eye-popping looks for thee Hotties.
